DAMAGE IN THE NAVE Services to be held in the Parish Hall Effective May 28, 2008 Until Further Notice Due to damage in the Nave, worship services will have to be held in the Parish Hall for the next few weeks. One of the false beams on the ceiling that runs the length of the nave fell onto the pews. While the other one is still up there, we assume that it is held up by the same construction techniques; which means the building is unsafe to use at the current time. It doesn't appear to be a structural problem with the Nave itself, just with the false beams. Thankfully, no one was in the nave when the beam fell.
