Facilities Information 

Fees:  Fee of $150 for use of Parish Hall or Social Hall for the first three hours and $75 for each hour beyond. The Parish Hall and Social Hall are available for events and small wedding receptions and should be reserved as early as possible. Use of the Hall must be approved by the Church Council which meets on the second Tuesday of each month.

Procedure for all use: 

Each person or group must complete a Facilities Request Form and return to the office to be submitted for approval by our council. The office can be reached at (301) 845-4600 or through email at officeadministrator@saintpaulslutheranchurch.org. 

You can complete the form below, save it and print and return to the office in person or attach completed form and submit via email.
 
 
Approval: The completed Facilities Request Form is submitted to Council for review at the next Council meeting or Executive Committee meeting. Following Council action, the form is returned to the Office Administrator who contacts the person listed on the form.
 

Buildings for Use

Number of allowed people will be determined by current COVID restrictions.  Contact office for more details.
The Social Hall: is in the basement of the church building and has no handicapped access. There are also no bathrooms on that level. The Social Hall does include a full-service kitchen. Fire code allows 123 people with tables and chairs and 263 chairs only.

The Parish Hall: is in what was formerly a bank building. It can hold up to 85 people with tables and 185 with chairs only, according to the fire code. Comfortably, the Hall will hold about 60-80 people, depending on your plans. There is a small kitchen with a large refrigerator and a small chest freezer, for your caterers’ convenience. The Hall is also equipped with handicap accessible restroom and baby changing area. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are permitted in the building at any time, and of course it is a non-smoking facility. The use of candles or other potentially hazardous decorations is prohibited. If you have a DJ or live band, music must remain at a reasonable level, particularly in the evening. Set up can be done as early as the night before, but all arrangements must be agreeable with the church calendar. The Parish Hall/Social Hall must be left as it was found. All lights turned off and if heat/AC was adjusted, that must be turned back to the temperature stated on the sign beside thermostats.
